Jon Matcho
I know the pain... I've started building but have had to stop for months. All you have to do is get your hands on a piece of foam and some epoxy, spread micro all over it and you'll be able to change your vote. magnum
I'm building an open EZ with some mods of my own. I have been on hold for family reasons for about 2 months and will fire back up full tilt boogie come March. I now have a new main spar from Dennis and new wing and winglet cores coming and am ordering a lot of the little stuff for all the stuff that needs to be done in the fuse. I'm stoked!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Press on Tom Quote "Time flys when your building"
bhassel
Building a Cozy MkIV, though I can't seem to keep my garage warm enough to do the job this winter...stalled until spring! I've been wishing I had a Long/Vari to fly around in until I get the Cozy built. I'm missing the ability to see freinds and family (cross country) as the clock ticks. Sure don't enjoy commerical! herbnav
Actually you need another selection. Flyer and rebuilder. I bought a crashed airplane and spent 13 months putting her bak together. Herb
Jon Matcho
Ah, you're some sort of builder, even if you didn't build the whole thing. You have more building experience than many, likely including me, and I call myself a builder. So welcome, builder-flyer! tonyrothwell
With my wife, builders and pilots of a Mk3 with a Lyc IO-320 and MT constant speed prop. Fantastic aircraft - we are still thoroughly enjoying with over 1000 flight hours up. Thanks Burt and Nat. Doug Mood
I'm a 182 owner who is becoming convinced that the cozy MKIV is where I should be heading. I'm looking to find out a lot more about what I'm about to get myself engaged in, but the zone web site has been fun and informative. It's an exciting time to be looking to the future. rsrguy3
I was just gifted a Q-200. I'll be picking it up soon. I won't have any problem keeping the shop and garage warm, so I should be able to work through my winters here in N. Utah. I'm hoping for a three year build. It was an abandoned project before the ls-1 foil and other mods that made it a better plane. It isn't the Mark 4 I wanted to build but as they say....the price was right. And it's still fast. -Guy
AP3_C
Seem to be more of a plans collector than builder at this stage. Have Cozy IV plans S/N 1449 But still considering the idea of an Open-eze. KS canard builder
I'm looking to start building in a couple of years. I thought it would be good to get a head start on learning the building process and research the airplane to ensure it fits my wants and needs. Eragon
Hello all! I have been wanting to fly for a long time. This year for our anniversary my wife and I are going to start taking lessons toward getting our pilot licenses. I have decided that I want to build a Cozy Mark IV. I will hopefully be starting within a year. I may eventually build an OpenEZ as well (too bad the Berkut is no longer available).
