any body out there know the wieght of the inboard and outboard lead ?

way back when.....1983 i read in kit planes a new way to build planes, i was going to build, but just started this year,ch 13 now. In there it had "west" all over it in all the testing,imo if u go to west use the slow hadner. i use boat epoxi in my bird its called maz,and i have read the last test report (the pucks) and like what they say. some one said to me in a post once that im under building 10 % but the spar will hold 9 g's i pass out @ 4

its about time! hehe......u and me r at the same spot kinda,i pick my nose,cuss when i do i'm looking down and i see the big spots of stiky plactic laying on the floor and can step over them insted of in them, haven't figired out how not to lay in them when doing the upside down lay down trying to lay it up. the coolest part is when i get in the hot tub after a long night of fome carving and get to see all the dust on top the water,all i need is a polywog in the tread ..newbe help its got a list of stuf for watering the dash,u will need it if u go mazda,the list was fine till john messed it up,u know slade, allways changing shi...stuff lol have fun(buy stock in ups NO SHEET ROCK SCREWS WERE USED IN THIS PAGE

got layup done,got the covers on geting fome in end and waiting for 6 and 7 in the mail(i'm calling in the morning to order,mabe by the weekend). got 13b core for now,got cheep tubes for mount and orderd a small tig for the weld, will play with the tubes till i get good at the mig then will work on the crome molly stuff(u got a # and size i mite use ? or a plan of 1 allready build ? if not will try to build it the same as a 172 or 180(what ever is in the hager i can look at. So far all i can teach my mazda to do is sit but its very good at it. i hope some day it will roll over ~S~

hi dust, and fellow builders... got my lay up done on the sides,no help and fast hardner. it looks good(well to me anyway)i'll do the cover thingy tonight. got my 13b yesterday, looking for a good ps unit. saw the one with the ford 350 trany gears and forged housing,man is sweet, but its 2800. u know of a cheeper one ?and wher can i get a 20b shaft any one ? can some one give me the link to how to build your own mount plz. ok off to work i got have a gr8 day all !

Well thats what i thought that 1.5 is 1 1/2 but not in air plane land....the plans use a tape[my plumer buddy use's in his work}the only mesurement on the tape the same is 1 foot or 2 foot and so no.. there r 10 inches in a foot,so they a little bit longer.so 1.50 in 12ths is 1 and 1/2 but on the plumbers tape 1.5 is 1 and 3/4+a 16th so on the planes it has both inchs in 12ths and inches in 10 th's so look for the decimal piont so if it said cut to 38 inchs i do,but if it said cut to " WAIT"38 = 3 feet + 2 inches,or 3 feet and 2 inches in tenths but that = about 38 and 1/2 or so. O MAN....in chapter 5 where it called out 56, 38,8,22 i read ahead and it said 105 in" min. and i had that so all of them were in 12th's slade help! mike help .mazda buddy 'help. rob u'll need to know this. ??????

cut the jigs but the plans mite be wrong. on the bend cut it said mark every 2 in then cut but when i got to the end it was funny. the last mark was 1.55 so its save to say the next one would be 1.50(or the end as it were. but the plans said the end was to be cut to 1 and 1/2. but i think it should have been cut to 1.50 (in th')witch in inches is 1 and 3/4 or so, am i right ? so i'm going out now to glue on 1" to all the boards and re cut the angals so feel free to call..(360-620-5718)

was at the airport and got a chance to talk to the pilot of the now not so hot cozy. i didn't see him go in but was by the radio when the call when't out to clear the run way.witnesses saw a slow climb and didn't think he was going to make it, he then turned back to the runway they said.(there was a plane taking off so it looked like he opted to fly down wind lag and get a shot at the north end,he turned base sharp,nose droped they said. he over shot final,turn back to field and carrer landed it on the pavment,and rolled off on to the grass(i guess there's grass down there)a cfi said. they closed the run way but no debrie was found. 1 hour later after my ground test(72%)i saw him driving away with plane in toe so i stoped him and he said he was ok. he let me get some pic. of him and the plane.i'll up load them shortly. he said after the crash 2 weeks ago(nose gear not out all the way}the engine was running hot so he rejeted it.after take off it ran badly."i guess it was to rich" he said. Iasked him if the taxi test was ok,but he didn't do one.

ummm....ok in the landing bulk head 2 bid 1 uni over the pre made hard points. now the easy part,uni as pre plans arrow.i guessed that ment just left side and right but not in the center(8 ply=16 of the littel suckers with glue every wear at 1200am on a work night)now i'm going out to do the back side...was that right? if so i'll start fire wall today,and study for test in ground school chapter 1-5. 1. patch water bed,its bad 2. flight school 10-12 3. fly from 12-1 pwt 7 landings ACE'ed all of them,but got lose on one final 4. type in cozy page 5. back to hanger for back of bulk head 6. pending.......

ty to the gr8 dusty 0ne. the plans show a 45 deg. cut on the upper and lower edge...ok so i had no clue..lol a child could do this,or rather a 44 year old man with some help..back to it(falling behind)

just started the landing gear bulk heads but got stuck on the plans...so i go to u all for help,M5...M5...M5....Tip of the day, don't try to cut a mop with your chop saw...it will try to eat u !

ok i'm stuck....the top one on the plan has horzontal line,than a nother one just below it..cut on the lower one ?

Well i started to look for some and found that the 20's r hard o find but now i wonder about the 3 roter (9 sides), it most be smoth and fast. i want that or 280 hp or so,i'v call atcins and some dude in floida i thing but no replie from ether. got a friend at work who got a friend that owns a yard, and has his eye on a new 1, a c sea..i think, has any one build a rx8 that flys ?
