peteport
Hi Guys, Hope you all are keeping well in these crazy times. Just a brief intro from me; I am an Irish Easa licenced B1.3 engineer, currently working through my fixed wing ppl. Big fan on Burt Rutan designs as Im sure you all are, love the long EZ, but then the Berkut caught my attention so that is the hopefully not too distant dream build. Look forward to chatting with ye all. Kind regards Peter
jridge
Welcome aboard. Note the Berkut isn't sold anymore. Remaining kits are hard to come by and go for quite a bit of money. Jeff
Voidhawk9
Hi Peter, and welcome. There are a number of builders that have added Berkut-like features to their Long-Ez, such as the split canopy. 1 Quote Aerocanard (modified) SN:ACPB-0226 (Chapter 8) Canardspeed.com (my build log and more; usually lags behind actual progress)Flight simulator (X-plane) flight model master: X-Aerodynamics (GMT+12)

It is an achievable dream. Costs nothing to download the plans and builder's manual. 1 Quote -KentCozy IV N13AM-750 hrs, Long-EZ-85 hrs and sold
