Jim Burgess
That would be the CozyJet, built and flown by the infamous Greg Richter, he of Blue Mountain Avionics fame. Check out http://gregrichter.com/aircraft.html for the details. It's a pretty cool story!
Aiman
What is the range on that beast (on standard tanks, not the additional ferry ones) ?
Marc Zeitlin
What is the range on that beast (on standard tanks, not the additional ferry ones) ?It burns 25-35 gph, and the Vne is 220 mph IAS. You figure it out :-). Way less than my plane, that's for sure. Factor in the two fuel stops he'll need while I stay in the air, and on long flights, I get there first. Quote Marc J. John D. Wages
What is the range on that beast (on standard tanks, not the additional ferry ones) ?There's plenty of info here http://www.ezjetinc.com/ Robert and Valerie Harris are the ones who did the conversion. They are good folks and can give you all the information you'll need. The last time I saw Greg's Cozy, it did not have auxillary fuel pods installed. However, as part of the conversion proccess, the rear seat was removed and the space was converted to a fuel tank. It's a cool idea, but IMHO, for the money, and economy, I'll continue to build my Cozy IV with a good ol' Lycosaurus 360. Quote Best Regards, John D. I'll go talk to the guys over at mythbusters. I'll have them strap me to a rocket or something.
