mtorzews
I am also interested in these plans, but if you sell them to Steve that's fine too. If there are still available you can e-mail me at mtorzew@hotmail.com. Quote Mike T
Avpro56
Do you still have the Cozy plans for sale? You can contact me off line at (516) 356-9629 if the plans are still available. Regards, Jon Ross Northport, NY
mtorzews
AV PRO, He sold the plans on Ebay about a month ago for about $425. Quote Mike T
Jon Matcho
$425! Not bad. So here's how to justify buying NEW plans... 1) Buy the plans from Aircraft Spruce for $500 2) Buy the practice kit (with Moldless Composites Sandwich Homebuilt / Aircraft Construction book by Burt Rutan) for $70 3) Browse through the plans and do the practice kit 4) Conclude whether you like it or not (this may take months considering all criteria) If you decide to move on, then not a dollar or moment of your time was wasted. Dig in and spend another $1,000 or so on materials for Chapters 4 through 7. That will keep you busy for a good while. If you decide it's not for you, then... a) You have received an education in fiberglass working b) Put the plans and book up on eBay, and sell them for $425 -- the cost of this trial then becomes about $150. So... worse case, you spend $150 to find out whether you want to build one of the coolest planes out there! Jim Irwin
Please note if plans are sold, the buyer will need to call Renee at Aircraft Spruce 909-372-9555 x333 and have the plans transfered over to the new persons name. There is a fee of $25.00 for transfer of plans. Thank you for your cooperation. Renee Gelinas Aircraft Spruce
Spodman
Ahh! Thanks Renee (or is it Jim) for clearing that up. I'm ever hopeful of picking up a Cozy project for a song and wondered what the process was. Does this apply to plans sold by Co-Z Development also? I asked Nat a while ago but didn't get a clear answer. mtorzews
I didn't bid on the e-bay plans. I figured at $400 or more I wouldn't be saving much over buying them from acspruce. And I would have to deal with getting them registered, and wouldn't get my free catalog. I just bought my plans last week. They should arrive tomorrow. I think I made the right decision. Jim Irwin
It is Renee, I run the Cozy desk at Aircraft Spruce. Yes that is the same, so I would like to know who bought the plans so I could at least get the name and address to update my files. Nat had the policy that he did not agree with someone selling plans they just bought, he would rather someone buy an unfished project. I just ask if someone sells the plans to another builder they contact Aircraft Spruce, sign a new license agreement so I can update the files. Thanks, Renee Gelinas Aircraft Spruce Ahh! mtorzews
Renee, The winning bidder uses a the profile of dendranina on ebay. I think there is a function to contact someone on ebay. The plans were sold on ebay item #2471765415 for $382.77. (I remembered it being higher than this). There is no info on the plans number. Cozy846
There was a guy selling Bogus plans on EBAY. I forgot what caught my attention but He used the same picture to sell them and Hey one set ok but 3 or more with the same pic and claim. If there's a wood panel in the image near the floor.. Walk. I could not get proof of genuine plans from him. Buyer Beware. No Number,,, Not interested. They use a white label and a real number. Every set look a like. The number can be verified through Aircraft Spruce. These are Good People and the Owners to this design. . You cannot beat Aircraft Spruce on this. Counterfeit might get you so far but why not spend the time to get it right. . My plans are registered. !00% REAL. There is a process to transfer owner ship form owner to buyer. Call em first.
