Hello all. I am a new guy to this site. I am a retired Air Force Crew Chief.  I still work in the aviation industry. Just not what i did before. I am an A&P

I found this site somehow.. looking for an airplane-to purchase..

is a canard an airplane a low time pilot should consider?

Oh, NOW you are interested in the canards after you had probably the world's most experienced builder/pilot living next door.  🙂

Yeah... a canard is a good airplane for a low time pilot.  BUT... its needs to be canard that flies well (most do) and that was built correctly.  Our community has several excellent resources to help you find an excellent aircraft!

2 Seat - Long-EZ or Varieze

3 Seat - Cozy 3

4 Seat - Cozy MKIV

Larger 4 Seat - Defiant or Velocity
