Yeah, he hasn't posted much since he finished the structure. Last I saw, he had finished the fill/sand on one side, but that was a few months ago.

Wow, Justin, that's a fair bit of work you've put into that.

The modified plans you attached seem to have some issues--a number of pages are missing or blank or out of order, particularly starting at chapter 15.  Is that intentional?

This one was just reposted.  Is anyone familiar with the builder or the build itself?  It looks like most of the fabrication work is done.  Wings haven't been drilled or mounted, winglets are built but not yet attached.

I'm not a builder nor a pilot (yet!), so I can only echo advice I've heard from others:  if you want to just fly, get a Lycoming.  If you like to tinker, and are ok with the build taking considerably longer, and if you can engineer the installation well, then an auto conversion might be ok.

I've spoken to Mark Kettering (owner of Aeromomentum), and I've been pretty impressed with his approach and engineering chops.  His is a much more rigorous approach to engine and PSRU design than what I've seen from Viking.

I don't have any recommendations for test pilot, but I know there's another Cozy based at KARR: N66DK.

With Dow ceasing production, is anyone aware of an alternative/replacement?
