  1. I don't think it will be in are life time. However some of are cars are built in the USA with metric, and some a mix. Go figer. My 1996 Dodge Carevan is like this.
  2. levansic That is a good point. It is kind of wide, but it is thin. It's probaly small enough to fin under the seat. Their are other thin cases out their, that are not as wide. I just did not have time to look for it, and you could always make your own case. Mac is a good computer, but most of the software runs on Windows 2000/XP Pro. Pluss a 2.26GHz sould be fast enugh. It's not like your going to be doing Hi end C.A.D work or wrighting music on it. It just need to be fast enough to give you your map, and monitor all your devices. Pluss if the CPU frys on you it is much easer to find replacement parts. If you whonted to go crasy on it. For $1,200 you can build ont that has 2gig of ram, and 3.6GHz CPU in it, and a 250 to 300Gig HD. But that would be over kill. I hate to brake it to the MAC lovers out their, but Windows XP Pro is a good OS. "Operating System". But I would rather go with a Linux OS, and I don't think their is anything out their for it. If their is Please let me know. You realy can't get any more stable then Linux. Mac/Windows can't run for 2years with out rebooting. Can it? And yes I do tech support, and yes I am a Geek.

  4. I would consider building a computer for $400 to $500, and then buy a 14” LCD screen to surface mount it. Then you can use a Microsoft Wireless mouse/track ball and keyboard. Then you can have your laptop as a backup unit. On the other hand, you can mount the 14” LCD screen, and plug your laptop in it.
  5. I did go to the web sight, but I only read English. Do you have any websights that have information in English?
  6. I have looked at the plans to the AeroCad 2, and I know it is almost a clone of the Cozy. The AeroCad 2 has a combiened max weight of 400lbs for the 2 front seats. If I don't lose weight my plane wil not be a 4 seater, but a 3 seater... Smilie
  7. I have used Mac, Linux, and Windows based computer. I have built, Linux, Windows based desktop, and servers. I can honestly say that I can leave any one of my computer on for months at a time, and not have a problem. So far my Windows XP Pro computer has crashed less then my Mac. I really comes down to the hardware more then anything. The Mac is really Linux that has been redesigned to take advantage of the RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computers) Processing power. You see a 2.4Ghz RISC will run as fast a 3.8Ghz Intel, and in most cases the RISC will run much cooler. Now the Windows family is based off of OS/2. and OS/2 has alot in common with Unix. All most every ATM is running OS/2, and/or Windows NT 4.0. And how often do you see one that has crashed. I think I can count it on one hand. To make a long story short. You can build 2 computer for about $500.00 each, and tie them together so you can have a back up. If one should dye the other would take over. This is not hard to do.
  8. Has anyone used carbon fiber instead of fiberglass, and is the weight savings worth the price?
  9. Is their a websight that I can go to check out the "tsio360a".
  10. My wife buys thows bags, and I took a look at them. They are just like any other bag, but one thing. It has been prestreched is such a way they tend not to rip as bad as the other bag, but they do rip more often.
  11. Wow! That is a plane that only the builder could love. But I can't talk. I don't even have a plane.
  12. I wonder if the Cozy or Areocad is long enough, and (or) some place where you can mount it. I would imagine that it would need to be mounted as strait as possible to reduce the drag if any acures.
  13. So you saw a UFO? Can you draw what you saw, and then post it?
  14. I'm was looking for the SQ2000 manufachers websight. Dose any one know where I can fiend it?
  15. Nathan, Your input has helped me get closer to my goals, and I don’t know what I would do with out this forum. God Speed -Deron J. Thomas-
  16. I'm looking to build a pusher, but I have not decided on witch one as of yet. I'm just trying to figure out how to get the best performance out of the engine. I was just think as you go up in elivation the air gets thinner. This will starves the engine of oxygen. Which in turn cause lower performance of your power plant. So to solve this problem would one just put a bigger turbo or supper charger on the engine?
  17. I know some of my questions might seem kinda stuped to some of you, but please remember that I'm a computer geek not an engeneir. To help promote air density to the engine could one make the air scoop bigger? Or will the bigger scoop would add too much drag? And would a more efishent inner cooler help with the turbo, and supperchargers?
