  1. Jon and all others. I have never taken sides over this issue, mainly because I REALLY do not care. HOWEVER,,,,,you convienantly only tell ONE side of the story here in the open where EVERYONE has a chance to read what is going on. The bottom line is the way you dealt with valuable members of the forum. You were rude and abusive to them in private, then tell everyone in public what a nice guy you are,,, and how wrong THEY were,,,, they are a bunch of liers. Then you complain openly when your private messages were made public!!! Stop lying to everyone here!!!! You DID BAN Largeprime from posting!!! End of story!!! I see Largeprime and Dust every week so I KNOW whats going on!! Others do not!! STOP LYING TO EVERYONE!!! I'm moving over to a forum that in uncensored, open, polite, informative, and is not run by bullies such as yourself, or Zeitlin!! I encourage all others to do the same. Its the ONLY way to get a new administration since Jon would not cooperate voluntarily.
  2. Congratultions cncdoc!! You'll have lots more of those deliveries to come. As far as the scale goes,, you will want one to verify your ratio's on occassion. You can get a nice digital five pound scale new on ebay for around $30.00. We caught ours out of wack once. Did a thorough cleaning, replaced the plastic containers and recalibrated.
  3. It is definatly worth the effort to comparison-price shop between the two. The last time I ordered foam, there was a $10.00 + price difference per sheet, and I ordered 13 sheets that day, so I saved a ton. Well,,,,, not a ton, but it adds up to big time savings over time.
  4. Maybe I'll re-think that bit about not putting the sight gauges in!! We are at that point now. They are here at the shop already, so its no big deal to go ahead and do it.
  5. We used the Westach capacitence probes. I got mine from AS as a package with dual reading single gauge. Cost under $300. Mine are 5" bendable and go through the side under the top longeron, then bent up to top of tank and back down. They can be calibrated so even if their was a difference in readings with different fuels, you can calibrate them to what you are using. Some folks go straight down from the top of the strake near the fuselodge body and build a blister to cover it up. We think we like our mounting location better. As far as vances visual gauges go, we have them but have decided not to install them.
  6. I now know what a Cosmo 13B is! Its in the back of my truck waiting for a few strong men to help me unload it!! Getting it, along with 15 gallons of epoxy across the border is a story in and of itself. If its any indication of our national security,,,,,,we ARE in trouble!!
  7. Its not in the garage YET!!! I use the "AUCTION SNIPER" program. I set it to place my max bid at the last 5 seconds of the auction. Its all automatic!! I won the last three items I bid on. I don't want to sound like an in-fermatial, but its great!!!
  8. Oh!! Your leaving for Toronto tomorrow??? I thought you were going the 22nd.????
  9. As Al Pachino said: "Say hello to my new little friend" :D http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=33615&item=2470889310&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT
  10. I also got a reply from Fred at Conversion Concepts. Their mount does fit the Cosmo. Their mounts are tig welded and then normalized.
  11. I don't think you want leaking fluids and oil all over the cargo area of your Mercedes SUV Mike! Very generous offer though. I got the green light from the better half so "Auction Sniper" will handle the bidding for me. I'll know tomorrow night if she's mine.
  12. Thanks for the offer Mike. Do you have a truck or trailer to haul it? If not, I'll loan you the beast in my driveway. I gotta call them first though. One guy I asked a while ago on a different engine said no pick-ups. You gonna pick up some MGS epoxy while your there? You'll save money bigtime. Dust has the contact info.
  13. 140* by 1300 hours????? Makes me appreciate the weather we have here in Michigan, including the -00's* winters, that much more!! Everybody's gotta live some where.
