Aerospace Eng
I own and lease out hangars at the Zelienople Airport. Through some tragic circumstances, I now own a project Long EZ that one of my tenants was constructing. N125EZ, S/N 121 It was registered with the FAA, but never received an airworthiness certificate. I am a pilot and mechanic/IA, but have no time for this project. The workmanship, in my opinion, is not the greatest, but I have no idea as to how it compares with homebuilts generally. There is no builders book, and no logs for the airframe, engine, or prop. However, it has been inside all its life, and the canopy, for example, is in great shape. If you are interested in parts, such as the outer wings, canopy, engine, prop, landing gear, brakes, instruments, etc. let me know. I will take and post some pictures. Kent Ashton
This is a real airport. :-). http://www.airnav.com/airport/KPJC Dennis, you will get a lot of views with an ad on Barnstormers.com. They are inexpensive. Put it in the Experimental section. It’d be nice to have those logs but sometimes they are not absolutely necessary. A good bill of sale or proof of ownership would be the biggie, i imagine. https://registry.faa.gov/AircraftInquiry/NNum_Results.aspx?NNumbertxt=N125EZ Edited May 1, 2020 by Kent Ashton Quote -KentCozy IV N13AM-750 hrs, Long-EZ-85 hrs and sold

Aerospace Eng
The engine is an O-320-E2D There is a propeller, but I can't see any markings. I will dismount it and see what I can find. Canopy is tinted.

That's a Hertzler prop. Quote Marc J. Zeitlin Burnside Aerospace marc_zeitlin@alum.mit.edu www.cozybuilders.org copyright © 2024
Kent Ashton
The paint looks dull but I would think it could be sold as a complete airplane. Selling parts will only bring 1/2 the value. Take a look at my thread below and see what people have asked for them. Since you can sell it with good title, the only obstacle I can think of to getting it flying (other than safety) is proving to the satisfaction of the FAA or DAR that it was built by amateurs. Personally as a buyer I would have no problem swearing on the A.C. application that a Long-EZ was built by amateurs and if the circumstances are explained to the FAA/DAR I suspect they would accept that without demanding builder's logs or photos. It depends on the inspector. As an IA you probably know who'd work with you. https://www.canardzone.com/forums/topic/21972-sales-ive-seen/page/24/#comments Edited May 2, 2020 by Kent Ashton Quote -KentCozy IV N13AM-750 hrs, Long-EZ-85 hrs and sold
Aerospace Eng
If someone really wanted it, I'd be amenable to selling the whole thing.
