wildbird
Like most people I'm trying to get my EZ in the air on budget, which is already blown. Does anyone have a com recommendation; I was looking into either an Icom IC-A200 with an inexpensive intercom or a Becker AR 4201.
argoldman
Something tells me that the -A200 has a built in intercom. Not the greatest, but it probably works. The units are at a good price, since Icom updated to a new model. Quote I Canardly contain myself! Rich
spg_76013
The Microair 760 fits in a small hole and has a built in intercom. Based on advice from a buddy who has one in his plane, I recently got one ($600 used) and I'm installing it this weekend. I'll let you know of any issues. Vari/Long-EZ
I changed out a broken Narco with an external intercom with a Icom IC-A200 with its internal intercom - less wiring and far more features. Did add two switches to the control strick for frquency changes (nine in memory) and active/stand-by. Totally satified with the IC-A200 system. Good Bang for the Buck A good friend of mine who has a fully IFR RV suggested the IC-A200 with a sigtronics sport 200 intercom. He said that is all I would need to for day VFR for short money. From the last post it sounds like I wouldn't need to spend the $199.00 for the intercom. Thanks Wildbird
