billyvray
I saw on the Todd's Canopies website where a guy has ordered an extra long Long EZ canopy. Anybody heard of someone building a scaled up Long EZ?
Nathan Gifford
Cozy, Aerocanard? I think someone is building a longer LongEZ somewhere on the web. Can't remember where I saw it, but I think it was in the eastern hemisphere. Joe Berki
That would be me. It is a Limo EZ built from Long EZ plans. I stretched it 6.5". Todd made the canopy for me. I am currently modifying the canopy frame to accomodate the temperature changes that affect this large canopy. There is plenty support for Long EZ builds. Just ask. tonyslongez
My long Ez is LOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGG as well 6in longer, and 4in wider front seat bulkhead and 2in on the back seat bulkhead, and longer nose. lots of room to walk around I have the drawings on the ez.org web site of the mods check them out if your not to far along building you can incorporate some of those mods. only stretch your fuse if you are using a larger engine. wider is O.k.. Longer, you'll need some weight in the back. Tony
dbradford04
silly question, but could you whack off the nose and extend it there? I'm 6'4, and just need 6" more leg room. the wife it itty bitty, and the back seat is fine.
tonyslongez
Dbradford Yeah, I think that is what most guys do anyway with the shorter nosed Long Ez's. Juat make sure you do a new W&B sheet you won't be adding alot of nose weight but it will affect your C of G. Tony
