dust
Ok so the engine i bought is NOT a prop strike, but it has the wrong govenor on it, a fail to feather for a twin, not a fail to full for a single. No problem, called wentworth, another plug, and they said, tell me what you want and we will swap it out, free of charge. Ok so now i am thinking, should i have the govenor rebuilt and called a prop shop and it is $750, NORMALLY. I then called MT propellor as they are supplying the prop, and asked for thier govenor price, $1,500., new made to thier specs in rep of chek, dueque,. So buy new lighter weight for 1500 or rebuild for 750?+ enjoy the build Mike Quote maker wood dust and shavings - foam and fiberglass dust and one day a cozy will pop out, enjoying the build i can be reached at http://www.canardcommunity.com/

Dave Clifford
I thought I read a short while ago in one of my mags, that MT also makes governors for their props, hydrolic and electric. You might want to check into it, if you havn't yet, since you are using a MT prop. Quote Dave Clifford "The Metal Man" Musketeer Vise grip hands and Micrometer eyes!! But if your interested in a Lycoming, there are three engines on a bench at my local FBO waiting for their owners to refinance their homes to pay for the MO's. I bet you could buy any of them cheep! dust
Wellllllll, after talking with my DAR/safty/everything buddy, the woodward govenor is very light and pretty well bullet proof with probably no need for a rebuild enjoy the build Mike Quote maker wood dust and shavings - foam and fiberglass dust and one day a cozy will pop out, enjoying the build i can be reached at http://www.canardcommunity.com/
