Is there a comparable turbine engine to the O-360?

Anyone coming to atlanta in thier Cozy MK IV. I would love to get a look @ one in person. I have read just about every builder page that I can get my eyes on from front to back. I'm pretty sure that its the plane for me. The specs are there however I just want to see the back seat and maybe even sit in one while making vroom, vroom noises If anyone is buzzing in to PDK, RYY, LZU or FTY post it here. I would love to have a closer look. Thanks

I dont think throwing a temper tantrum in an elevator is the solution She'll only ask "Is this how you would act in the plane". In all seriousness shes not against me building the plane. After I explained to her that the cost of the build would be roughly 60k (on the high side)and the resale would be over 100k, she realized that spending 70k on a 1978 Cessna 172 with a waggaly front wheel was not the best option. The Cozy would be new, fast and very sexy. Not to mention Grand Bahams is in reach.

It seems to me that it would be easier to simply build a brige connection from a smaller IFR GPS to larger Monitor. Jwillis has the right idea. However, If its not going to cut the mustard with approval why not just build a processor that takes a small screen gps that is certified and magnify that smaller screen on a larger format monitor? All you would need to do is plug it in some how and... urieka! As far as banking my chips on a windows based GPS system... your completely NUTZ! Excuse me Mrs. hard and unforgiving earth I have to re-boot my windows based GPS system. Yea, Right.

AvMap EKP IIIC GPS (Mod P1M0501 GAM 3); SN 20408022; 10-35VDC Anyone use this? Heard any posotive/negative feed back? It does not say IFR. However the display looks nice. Display size: 6.4” diagonal.

Mike what kinda cruise do you get out of your turbo 360? Or do you expect to get? What would one expect to pay for a turbo 360. Say with less than 1000 hours on it? The Newbie Tes111

Good question Jake. Any takers for the vne? I was hoping to not eliminate interior space. However if it is to large for a typical install it has to go somewhere. Right? I know that Velocity makes a 540 engine mount. I have also seen the aero cad builder sites that show their 540's installed. Just wanted to know how you would go about doing such a thing. You know, pick a brain or two. I am not a builder but am going to purchase plans very soon. I would like to have more answers than questions prior to starting the build. Notice I said "prior to". I would like an RG cozy with a 540. I know the rg is possible. Now for the 540. Regards The newbie TES111
