Kent Ashton 247 Posted March 31 I see that this guy makes mounts https://irondesigniowa.com/aviation/patrol/mounts/ You might ask the cozygirrrls (www.cozygirrls.com) but they seem pretty busy. Does your O-290 use a dynafocal ring? You can buy the ring from Aircraft Spruce. I made my own mount for an EZ. https://www.canardzone.com/forums/topic/18661-kents-long-ez-project/ I backed the engine+ring up to the firewall in the correct position and fitted the tubes to the airplane. If you can weld well enough to tack one up, a local welder could finish it. You might find it warps a bit but you can probably work that out with a little heating before you paint it. A plywood jig to simulate the firewall will work too. Quote -KentCozy IV N13AM-750 hrs, Long-EZ-85 hrs and sold
Ratdog 0 Posted April 1 Thanks for the info . I have a dynafocal mount for an 0235 that came with the VariEze project but 0290 I found has the old conical mount ( flat plane ) . I need the 029 conical mount for the VariEze
