oscarm98
I am looking to purchase the small "standard" aluminum throttle, mixture and carb heat knobs for my Long-EZ. note: I do NOT need the whole throttle quadrant, just the knobs Please call or e-mail me if you have some for sale or know of where I can get a reasonable set. Thank you. Oscar 630-660-6258 (cell) oscarm98@yahoo.com
TMann
Depending on what you have ....... Check out James Redmon's : Berkut site He did not care for the standard knobs that came with his throttle quadrant so he replaced them with some nice metalic cabinet knobs from Home Depot (or the like.) It looks good. Waiter
TMann, I used large plastic balls (beads - 5/8 inch in diameter) that you can get at any hobby shop. I cut a small slot in them with a Dremal, then epoxied them onto the handles. longez360
Whatever you decide to put in, throw it up in the air and if it comes back down it's too heavy.. Stick with plastic. Another thought is the colored handle knobs from piper aircraft e.g. lance. Maybe there is something to be had there.
