trisem1
Hello forum, I live in Maryland on the Eastern Shore. I have been interested in the home building of an airplane for some while now, especially the EZ; well after a few years I have made a decision that it will be the Cozy IV. I have never build a plane before, but I like to build other things. I'm new to flying, I'm hoping that I can build up flying time while I build the Cozy. Big Steve
trisem1: Buy a set of plans and let the adventure begin. We all learned how to build them by doing it. I have met several people who built planes and then learned how to fly when they were done. You will never regret doing it and you will become very confident using your newly aquired skills in other areas. Phil Kriley
Welcome and ditto what Steve just said! Get started! The longer you wait, the more you'll be kicking yourself. Support for the Cozy has been excellent for me because of these forums, Marc Zeitlin's "unofficial" Cozy site and the many builders' sites available. Spend some time reading the archives, then get the shop in order and do everything in the practice/education chapter (Chapter 3) and you will be ready. Buy the Cozy Girrrls tool set from Wicks! You'll be glad you did! Quote Phil Kriley Cozy #1460 Chapter 13 - nose Right wing done - working on right winglet.
rickh
... I have never build a plane before, but I like to build other things. ... Me nether, me too (cabinet/furniture butcher). As you glean some of the postings, you'll see quite a few "wish I'd started earlier..." threads. Rick Quote Rick Hall; MK-IV plans #1477; cozy.zggtr.org Build status: 1-7, bits of 8-9, 10, 14 done!
