Who has done so allready and would it be possible for me to have the instructions (the parts I would by from the girrrls) wolf. Spodman Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 The hidden bellhorns, as planned by Mr. Rutan, are only good AFAIK for the Cozy or the Long-ez with the 'high-performance' rudders. And those rudders are not for the Vari either. Still doesn't mean somebody hasn't done it though! Cozy Girrrl Posted August 25, 2008 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Pretty sure they will not fit, nor swing far enough due to the winglets being different/smaller. There is barely enough throw in them as it is on the Cozy/LE. You'd have to design some specifically for the VE, move the hinge line forward and the cable attach point rearward towards the hing line in order to get the throw specified in the VE plans.
