Jerry Schneider Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I've been using the Fein for 8 years. The only thing I wished for was an easier way to change from sander to cutter. It's a bit cumbersome with the allen wrench. My advice? The quick change feature is WELL worth the extra expense as compared to the standard model. Especially considering you'll be usung this tool for years to come. Quote "I run with scissors." Cozy MKIV N85TT Phase One Testing http://home.earthlink.net/~jerskip

Jerry Schneider Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 What's the quick change feature? The hub post is hollow. Instead of screwing into the hub, (old-style), the fastener goes thru the hub to a lever which has a cam latch on it, which draws a fastener tight against the hub of the tool from the other side.
