mfryer
I just don't get the point when I see these sites with rendered graphics of some "cool" looking airplane. I would be more convinced with some real data, or at least a flying scale model. Some proof that some work and study is behind the promisess before asking others to spend there time and $$$ to explore the idea.

I don't think it's possible for me to agree any more with you on this point. We've seen umpteen hundred new aircraft designs like these that never make it to market because they're got their hand out waiting for investor funding. I.E. Infinity One, Smartfish, Kestrel PAV, that 4 engine tilt-rotor thing a few years back (started with an X), yadda, yadda, yadda...When I see that hand out asking for money, I take it as a sign to run the other way. Lynn Erickson
http://www.flightsciences.net/index.htm So any news on these guys?? Just saw there www.Barnstormers.com ad. Thanks another one with the vertical surfaces in the wrong place. I don't remember the name but many years ago there was a rutan type built with the verticals mounted inboard and it did not fly very well. they also seem to have the canard a bit low relative to the wing. the higher the angle of attack of the canard the more turbulence on the wing. maybe they can use the smoke from their investors vaporized money in the wind tunnel Quote Evolultion Eze RG -a two place side by side-200 Knots on 200 HP.
