Chairboy
I made my $1300 order with AS a few minutes ago. Enroute to me are Cozy Mk IV plans, the Chapter 4 kit, a gallon of MGS 285, a quart of the slow hardener, and a sticky-stuff pump. Woo hoo! I've got a few busy years ahead of me! crosswindaviator
hey chairboy! congrats! Myself and a very good friend are interested in building the cozy next year, we've planned this year to go information hunting, and visiting places or people who have built canards. I was pleased to see the amount you payed to get started with building, and its a nice addition that its possbile to start buying small bits and pieces, instead of having to pay a whole lot of money at once. Do you have an idea on what you total cost perspective will be? with and without the engine? kind regards, Pat
crosswindaviator
indeed congrats!! Me and a very good friend of mine are interested in building a cozy or long ez. Planning to spend 2007 gaining info, going to exhibitions and clubs to talk to people who have actually build one. Its nice to see that you can start off by buying small parts and doing part by part, rather than having to buy the whole thing in one go! Could you guys tell me, on what you expect to be paying, for building the whole kit, with and without engine? Somewhere on internet I found a guide price of 15k $ for the kit, and expect about 25k $ for the engine, are these figures correct? thanks for all the info, and were looking forward to sending pics of are progress when we start bye the way, i like the website you made showing all the steps! greetz, Pat
