Daniel Dillon Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Anyone know how good the video and the info pack on the Cozy is? Quote
Jon Matcho Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Daniel, I split this thread off from the "Cozy Door" thread it was attached to (different topic). The info. pack is well worth $10. It comes with a video that I've watched 3+ times, along with some other good information. For an idea what the plans look like, less the full-sized drawings, take a peek here: www.aerocad2.com Quote Jon Matcho Builder & Canard Zone Admin Now: Rebuilding Quickie Tri-Q200 N479E Next: Resume building a Cozy Mark IV
Nathan Gifford Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Well then, I was robbed because the Cozy pack I had lacked the video. If that's suppose to be part of it I'm going to give Aircraft Spruce a call. BTW, without the video, the info pack stunk. It told me some of the operating specs of the aircraft, costs, and its history (all good info) but nothing about what was required to build. Nice pictures but mostly a sales brochure. If I were just reading the sales brochure, I probably would still be looking and not realize the exceptional characteristics of the Cozy. I got more from the Internet and forums that I did from the info pack. Quote Nathan Gifford Tickfaw, LA USA Cozy Mk IV Plans Set 1330 Better still --> Now at CH 9
Len Evansic Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 ...The info. pack is well worth $10. It comes with a video that I've watched 3+ times, along with some other good information...Wait, there's supposed to be a video with it?! Mine didn't come with one This may be a cut-back now that Aircraft Spruce is the sole proprietor. Wish I had a video with mine. I got a wad of photocopied articles, a copy of the current newsletter and a few color pictures of some in flight. I would love to have videos of people getting in or out, and how it looks taking off or landing. -- Len Quote -- Len Evansic, Cozy Mk. Jon Matcho Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Sorry everyone -- my mistake. See the Cozy Web site's Info Pack link http://www.cozyaircraft.com/ for NO mention of a video. I did not order the Info Pack and went straight for the plans. It did include Info Pack material, a video, and the plans. I'm not sure if this is standard, or Nat was just being nice at the time. So... the Info Pack would not appear to be worthwhile to me now that I know the video is not part of it. Sorry!
