Just a tip what I did for my screws so they would not turn. You can see from the attached pictures but basically extended slot all the way to edge and then tapped in brass rod that I picked up at local hardware store for 49 cents.

I think they should stay put. I also washed the screws in acetone to get all the oils of them and the epoxy would adhere better.

Fabulous photography.... Question, however (sinde I am not there yet)... what are these screws for, and are they then glassed over?

Looks great John and really simple. One question, is there a metallurgy problem between the screw and the brass?
