We'll see where I am in a year, I JUST STARTED BUILDING TODAY! :dancing.kumquat:
Not a bad idea though, bring layup samples, drops, bubble criteria, different materials... Kind of pointless in a way, but *I* thoroughly enjoy seeing things up close, in person. CozyGirrrls stuff was pretty cool.

I R not in the in venting bidness, but...Rick, can you "invent" a robust strobe/recognition light setup for us? Current ones on the market are rediculously priced. I'd be the first to buy it.
They can be done now, cost and size are the issue. Hi-power LED's are either being sold to someone else; not joe consumer, or they're still vaporware. Still smaller than conventional incandescent and flash tube though.
Next year (if not sooner?) I'll try to have a red or green recognition and strobe in one unit, and perdy near what FAR requires.
edit: Mike Lafleur (an EE) might have ideas too.

From what *I* see, yes.Is this wing foam?
A bunch The wings need 5 64" blocks plus 2 41" blocks each side. Some is cut off for the canard, 'leftover' bits/pieces for the winglets. How many do I need to do both wings?
Guess short blocks could be glued (or dots of pour foam?) to get the 64" called out for in the plans. FWIW, YMMV, ...
Appears this is an annual 'sale', I just might take the truck to RR next, and load up on foam on my return. Even if not on sale, I'll $ave on $hipping.

I took 288+. With that many, one/two gotta work outHey Bro' Rick!
You have the eyes for camera work. Thanks for the memories! I hope to see you again next year, by golly, bring along some completed bulkhead!!
Cheers, Bro!
Wouldn't miss RR, I'd walk there if it came down to that.
BTW, any bulkhead I make this winter will be glued to a canoe that'll need a big fan to move...

YepTough to judge who the idiots are based on some posts on a forum ........ but there are those who will do their best.
Lots of hangar flying going on here.
I'm curious how long my noob tag (not to be confused with name tag or guten tag) will last, and if [when] it leaves, should I expect some sort of life change event? Would I then know it all, or would I be starting an entirely different noob phase? Horizontal move, if you will.

I'm thinking heat lamps maybe? Too bad I can't tap into the water heater as a heat source ....... ......... or maybe I could???
Depends...
Add a tee to the drain valve on the heater, add a tee to the hot water outlet side, fill the gap with hose and tubing to [under] your table [top]. Convection rulz, no pump needed. If it's close to your table, you'll get some heat. If it's enough though...
Toss some poly on a frame over the table. Set a small ceramic fan forced heater at one end of the 'tube', let 'er rip. Vary the temp by setting the heater closer/further from the opening. As in don't tape it to the poly tube/frame.
I've seen these heaters advertised as "personal" heaters, like under a desk to warm your tootsies. 500w tops, 250w on low (or thereabouts).
YMMV, don't forget to floss.

Peachyso he asked Dan to turn it off.
On a lighter note, returned from RR this AM (0230). Most excellent time, accomplished all I set out to do.
Modem prevents me from uploading gb's of pix, but will try. Stay tuned.
Thanks to all that put up with me
