  1. I would really like to move this out of my attic this weekend... make me an offer! Steve
  2. As a seller, I'm very much not a fan of Paypal, because there's no way to protect yourself from dishonest buyers. Lots of scams out there, but a popular one is where the buyer "returns" the item -- sending an empty box through UPS or FedEx -- and then claims a refund through paypal. (They do this even if you've explicitly stated no-returns). Paypal is good for a small deposit, b/c it's immediate and provides the buyer protection too. But the balance of funds should be by certified funds or a personal check.
  3. Hi - these are still available. I'll send you an email now...
  4. For Sale - 1 set of Infinity Retractable Landing Gear - $5,500. Unused, never-installed Infinity retracts for the for the Cozy MkIV or Long-EZ. These are the 2nd generation design from JD Newman. This is a really unique opportunity to get these gear. I know I waited years after ordering them before I had a chance to get them. A quick google search shows the last ones were sold in 2014. Many more details are available on the Infinityaerospace website. http://infinityaeros...d/landing-gear/ - All the parts should be included, with the exception of the installation DVD, which should be available from JD Newman. Good luck & any questions just send me a note. Steve
  5. For sale, Dennis Oelman rudder pedals: $200. These are the improved laydown pedal design - here's a picture of them installed (in another builder's plane): http://www.ez.org/pages/Fisher/CH%2013%20Pics/Rudder%20and%20masters.jpg These were never installed, but just in full disclosure, there's a few small scuff marks on them. Nothing that won't clean right up.
  6. For sale - Cozy Mk-IV Dynafocal Type 2 Engine Mount. This is for a IO-320 or IO-360 engine, in the "H-brace" configuration, which better allows the lower brace to clear the engine induction system. Unused and in excellent condition, asking $850 or best offer. (It's very similar to this one, from the Cozygirrl site. http://cozygirrrl.com/images/parts/H-mount.gif which sells for $1350.)
  7. Steel foot is still available, other items are sold.
  8. Just send me a private message with your email - steve

  10. Sadly, I have decided to part out my aircraft project in favor of my sailing and boat restoration hobby. I have almost all of the brock parts, hardware, and CNC’d wing cores need to complete the project, at a fairly substantial discount. I’m listing these parts across a couple categories for better visibility. Watch this page though, I have finished cataloguing everything yet, so there will be more to come soon -- including Infinity retracts. Process & Payment: I’m pricing most items 25-50% off. First one to send me a paypal payment gets it. If it’s not selling, I’ll take the highest bidder or put it on ebay (I’ll post a link so that you guys have first shot at those auctions). Payment. Prefer paypal. If you’re buying more than $500 worth, I’m going to ask for a deposit on paypal and the balance by check, bc fees really start to eat that up. Any questions though, just hit me up and we’ll work something out. Most of these items are unused, if otherwise I’ll indicate in the listing. (I’m also posting the links to the items on AC Spruce or elsewhere so you can get a sense of whether this is a good deal or not.) Nose Gear Pivot Assembly (MKNG6A): $200 (40% discount http://eznoselift.com/index.php/price-list) Steel Support Foot: ~50 (approx 50% discount. Some of the black paint has chipped, but otherwise unused) http://eznoselift.com/index.php/price-list Castering Nose Wheel Assembly (MKNG15 and MKNG16): $250 (40% discount off http://eznoselift.com/index.php/price-list 4” Wheel Hub (WH4A) + TR100-018 10x3.5 x 4 ply McCreary Tire size: 10" x 2-1/2" + inner tube: $200 (approx 50% discount, http://aircraftproducts.wicksaircraft.com/item/all-categories/mccreary-tire-tube/tr100-018?plpver=10and http://eznoselift.com/index.php/price-list http://imgur.com/a/CgwFW http://imgur.com/lQq1Wk5

  12. About 14 months ago I started the process of redesigning the front seats of my modified Cozy, to improve the crashworthiness and allow for a higher, more upright (30 degree angle) seat that better fit my modified fuselage. Here's the original thread: http://www.canardzone.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6692) I designed the seats using beam theory calculations, aided by a simple tool called BEAMCALC. They are designed to exceed the 9G crashload requirements stipulated in various FAA FARs. After a lot of work, I had a design that I liked, but before installing them in my aircraft I decided to destructively test a full-scale seat/fuselage mockup, to validate the design. This thread intended as a discussion of the process for destructively testing this design, and should culminate in a pretty cool video of the destructive testing. So stay tuned! For now, here are a few diagrams of the design concept, and some pictures of the full scale mockup. Enjoy.
