nonethewisa
Hi Guys Recently my slimline rpm gauge, after a period of being intermittent, stopped working altogether with the display just showing zeros (default) . I bought a replacement and have fitted the sensor, gauge and new wiring but still the rpm gauge is just showing zeros. I'm at a loss to explain the problem, can anyone point me in the right direction? Mal
brainfart
You bought a complete replacement and it's still not working? Sounds like some sort of operator error. Does it work on your workbench, when it's not built in?

Drew Swenson
That tells me you have a problem with the sender line----or the sender itself I assume that the power and ground line is ok since it at least reads zeros. Eliminate the problem with the aircraft wiring by tapping directly into the sender with a separate line. If still zeros, then you may need to buy a new sender.
