Wayne Hicks
Because maybe he wants to know if there are any Dragonfly lurkers on this site that have used successfully RV parts for making the tailwheel. A Dragonfly is a tail dragger. Quote Wayne Hicks Cozy IV Plans #678 http://www.ez.org/pages/waynehicks
aerialfoto
Right Wayne at least partly. My dfly is a MkIII and i was told that the rv 6a nose gear is lighter and simpler than the BD5 nose gear thats on it now. So if any one has an Rv6a nose gear for sale or knows of someone that does i would like to hear about it

So if any one has an Rv6a nose gear for sale or knows of someone that does i would like to hear about itwhat is you are looking for? the nose gear strut or the nose wheel assembly. the strut on a RV-A is a bent piece of Chrome moly tubing. The RV6A uses a 11 x 4.00 x 5" lamb type tire for the nose wheel. the same tire used on the long eze mains. the RV6 ( tail dragger ) uses a 6" diameter solid rubber tire on the tail. the nose wheel for the long eze is a 2.50 x 2.80 x 4" McCreary tire with about a 8" diameter. I would think this would be the closest size to be used on a tri dragonfly for a nose wheel . if used on the tail it would be like a tundra tire on a dragonfly.
