David A. C. Orr Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 There aren't many for sale in Germany, but I can find them in EU sometimes and the US anytime. Beagle, aka David Orr www.canardfinder.com Quote

David A. C. Orr Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Any luck with Speed Canard? I've always wondered why people pay so much for a certified canard when the experimentals like the Long EZ are so much cheaper and so much more capable. Is it Germany's flying rules? I've heard of some there who have a US partner or a US corporate owner and original US N number. Beagle Quote
Baltasar Neumann Posted April 14, 2008 Author Posted April 14, 2008 Yes, there is on on the market. I have already viewed it. It looks good. The Long Ez etc. is in Germany not available. Most (or all?) Experimentals have the follow restrictions: max. 2 persons allowed (insurance), not flying over citys and water. Problems with noise-certificate ... Flying to other Countrys is difficult, becaus there are other regulations, and Germany is for a plane very little. best regards Newman Quote
David A. C. Orr Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Too sad - we had rules about going over cities - only when taking off or landing - but it is pretty much ignored. Beagle Quote
