Rough River 2006 Don and myself were really the only 2 out there shooting many feet of video of the event. I actually arrived Thursday and shot all day Friday. It was a gorgeous day if you arrived early.. Shot what I could in the Rain Saturday, and all day Sunday, till Bill Allen left, basically the last guy.. I was fortunate to shoot some film from the air, wake up a first timer really early Friday, before 6:00 am, (its on the DVD), and a few quick interviews with first time people that flew in. and many take-offs, passes, and landings. As a bonus, if none of none of you have seen Burt's and Mike's interview with Jay Leno just after winning the "X" Prize, its on the DVD too.. If you remember a new commercial with a mac & PC, with the PC having worries about upgrades and not returning?? Well I had that issue. Now 2 computers later and a ton of expensive software to convert, revert, and communicate, the Video is DONE!!! I am not selling the videos, but asking for a donation.
