MadMan
Hello Carnard Zone This is my first post I contacted ACS for some 285 and slow hardner to start my project with and they said not until Feb 5, Thats OK, But I was SHOCKED on the price 550.00 dollars for two gallons with hardner and that not with the shipping! Question, how many gallons are need for a "Open Long EZ".
Len Evansic
That's way too high. I'm thinking they entered 2 gallons in twice. I know their prices are going up some, but it should be closer to $250. I bought a gallon of 285 resin, one quart of fast, and one quart of slow hardener for $113.79 on October 7, 2006. My epoxy has not come in yet but that's what I paid. Looking at the current prices on their website, the MGS 285 resin has increased nearly $50 per gallon! I paid $73.74 for a gallon, and now it is listed at $120.95 per gallon. -- Len -- Len Evansic, Cozy Mk. IV Plans #1283 Do you need a Flightline Chair, or other embroidered aviation accessory? Jon Matcho
Check out post #34 in this thread, with Aircraft Spruce's soon-to-be/current price list for MGS. Remember, when buying an MGS epoxy kit, you're really buying 1.5 gallons (1 gallon resin + 2 qts hardener). Let's continue discussion on that thread. I'm closing this one.
