DonChester
Good day, Excuse me if these words are in the wrong place, I am completely new to this and have to admit I don't yet know what a 'Thread' or a 'Post' is! I expect somebody will put me straight? My uncle has a Dragonfly kit for sale complete with HAPI engine that he bought from the USA years ago. it has never been started and been in wraps since, does anyone know anyone who might make him an offer for it. Photo's and copies of paperwork on request. The plane is based in Luton in the UK.My email is 'doned.chester@virgin.net' Regards, Don. Greetings Don, You have entered the world of the short canards, although all are welcome. (dragonflies have equal length wings and canards) The best place for this is to send it to the dragonfly newsgroup at <Dragonflylist@yahoogroups.com>. I believe that Jeff LeTempt runs that list. Good luck. The dragonfly kit, if it is a kit (made by Task) rather than just a bunch of materials is somewhat rare and worth marketing. The Hapi Engine has had a checkered, not terribly hapi past and will need work to get it into good shape. If the "Kit" is only a bunch of fiberglass and foam (and not the pre-formed fuselage) you would probably do better to sell the materials locally. The epoxy resin will probably be useless in any case. Talk to Jeff. Quote I Canardly contain myself! Rich
Jon Matcho
The dragonfly kit, if it is a kit (made by Task) rather than just a bunch of materials is somewhat rare and worth marketing.News flash... Dragonfly plans AND kits are available from the current owner: www.dart-industries.com Don, there's a classified section there as well. ...I don't yet know what a 'Thread' or a 'Post' is! I expect somebody will put me straight?A 'thread' is the electronic conversation we're having. A 'post' is an individual message, for which you, Rich, and I have each contributed one post thus far. You posted in the right place... you're a borderline pro.
