Jon Matcho
With these going for $6,500 new, I'd pick one of the following options for the condition of this product: damaged stolen a scam (you'll never get it) Rino, please advise... Wayne Hicks
Try $6,500 USED. New costs installed are much higher than that. Garmin reps can't sell a new unit to homebuilder unless their avionics shop installs it. Nathan Gifford
...Garmin reps can't sell a new unit to homebuilder unless their avionics shop installs it...Is it can't or won't? The results may be the same...that is Garmin makes a few more bucks installing it. Looks like the s/n 97104749 I wonder if the item needs an export license or not? dadi.com from WhoIs Registration Service Provided By: BELIHOSTING.COM Contact: +62.81325800325 Website: www.belihosting.com Domain Name: DADI.COM Registrant: DADI Jim Carlson (sucakep@yahoo.com) Chg Arfg Center D 9 airlines Rd #04-05 Singapore SG,819827 SG Tel. +65.1222133 Administrative Contact: DADI Jim Carlson (sucakep@yahoo.com) Chg Arfg Center D 9 airlines Rd #04-05 Singapore SG,819827 SG Tel. +65.1222133 Technical Contact: DADI Jim Carlson (sucakep@yahoo.com) Chg Arfg Center D 9 airlines Rd #04-05 Singapore SG,819827 SG Tel. +65.1222133 Billing Contact: DADI Jim Carlson (sucakep@yahoo.com) Chg Arfg Center D 9 airlines Rd #04-05 Singapore SG,819827 SG Tel. +65.1222133 Creation Date: 08-Apr-2004 Expiration Date: 08-Apr-2006 Domain servers in listed order: ns2.unixbsd.info ns3.unixbsd.info Status:ACTIVE Quote Nathan Gifford Tickfaw, LA USA Cozy Mk IV Plans Set 1330 Better still --> Now at CH
Jon Matcho
Try $6,500 USED. New costs installed are much higher than that. Garmin reps can't sell a new unit to homebuilder unless their avionics shop installs it.Here's where I got the cost figure: http://www.tropicaero.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=store.show_product_detail&mcid=&pid=717 From what they say, it's $6,500 for NEW, but you're right about the additional costs -- even worse because there's a note that says, "All NEW IFR Certified Panel Mount GPS Units MUST Be Installed By Selling Dealer. Dealer may sell listed equipment for amateur built/kitplane customers provided that this equipment is sold as part of an entire panel, with all interfacing between systems and bench testing completed by the dealer. CALL US AT: (800) 351-9272 FOR INSTALLATION INFORMATION" Back on topic -- this "deal" remains suspicious.
