Temp treatment (Best)

Recommended Posts

Dare All

In summer my workshop will get to 50c mid day for many houres say 4 houres. At this heat i will not be able to work on parts, so am installing a airconditioner.

I can get the Temp in Work shop to 70c with heaters in summer in Winter about 35c max

Im going to use MGS 285 epoxy

Epoxy Box will be kept as 24c winter and 35c summer(on concreat floor)

Glass Box 25c winter and 50c summer

Please could you all tell me What is the best temp treatment is for MGS 285??

Standard Cozy IV builder only 2 mods, because I want to get into the air fast. :) At CH7

A temp of 70c (~160f) is an oven. If you can do that, you can postcure your parts in there. Your 35c (~95f) winter temp is good for building, and you can wait until the spring/summer to postcure (up to several months from what I recall).

I believe the postcure calls for 16 hours @ postcure temp, but check the MGS Web site to be certain (or contact them).
