Dave Clifford
We are at the point of installing the hidden hinge brackets and hinges on the ailerons and rudders. We are using the CheeryMax rivets called out for in the plans. Aircraft Spruse says to install these with a G-27 handgun, which costs $173.00. Is there any reason we can not use a standard pop rivet tool for these?? Marblehead, or whoever you are, if you are going to tell me I will drop out of the sky using this tool instead of a G-27, please explain!! Thanks for the help guys. Dave Clifford
Thanks Marc. Thats what we figured but wanted some input first. I ordered extra so we will give it a try. If the standard tool does not work well, we will get the expensive tool. Quote Dave Clifford "The Metal Man" Musketeer Vise grip hands and Micrometer eyes!!
