tim2542
FYI I just today recieved my new band saw from Grizzly. This is the same one that was featured in "Sport Aviation" last month. Overall I'll give it an 8 out of 10. The trunion could have been made from Cast iron and that would have made it about perfect, as there is a slight amount of flex but not bad. Just about all the rest is Cast iron, runs smooth, works good. I would liked to have bought an American made Delta but they are nearly $900. tim2542
Schaumr, My apologies. I forgot the international depth of this forum. As you may understand, emotions are running rather high at the moment. I have edited the mssg. Tim
Dave Clifford
I am not impressed with the quality of Delta. My floor model drill press is one. My floor model bandsaw is one of those imports. I am happy with it both for price and quality. Quote Dave Clifford "The Metal Man" Musketeer Vise grip hands and Micrometer eyes!! codensr
FYI Just bought a sears special, table model 9inch bandsaw for $59.00. Will not have delivery for a month, so can't rate it. The price was outstanding! Last item needed in my shop before starting my Mrk4 project. Quote CODEN SR, Builder MK IV #1146
ekisbey
I've been looking at the same one, I think. Be sure and let us know how you like it. It's either that one or the 99 dollar Ryobi at Home Depot, for me. Quote Evan Kisbey Cozy Mk IV plans # 1114 "There may not be any stupid questions, but I've seen LOTS of curious idiots..."
