Hey everyone..... the "inna-net" can be a strange tool, to say the least... Surfin' around may drop you where you least expect it. Berkut Builder #13 checkin' in...... Yea.... the original owner to John Andrzejewski's jewel. Tony, I've "speed read" your account of refurbishing a basket case into another solid build that will grace the skies..... very impressive. About the only comfort I take in regards to parting from my kit is the finished product John turned out. Anyone who has built one knows the tremendous time and effort one must apply. Timing is everything... You either have the time, the effort, the money, or the desire.... Getting them together ( in all the correct proportion's) is the real challenge. I had some friends lose their marriage, I had a friend lose his home.... and quite frankly, I lost some friends in fatals........... BUT, that damm Berkut still haunts me.... much like it does for Lampasso... How's Paulie doing BTW!!!!!! But , enough about me.... I just wanted to throw some "Atta' boys" in Tony's direction. I sleep well tonight knowing that another Berkut will take its place in the sky soon. Maybe my son will turn out to be the aviator of the family.... Here he is a few years ago, with the man..... Burt was kind enough to fly a roll of dimes in SS1 for him ( ala' the Mercury days @ NASA) Keep on building.... Bob Higginson
