  1. I have some plans for over center type latches for the canopy. I think I will try these. By over center I mean they will stay latched once pulled all the way. Has anyone else tried or seen these? I got the drawings from some one in Europe.

  2. I have a good yellow tagged King NAV/COM KX-155 WITH Glide Slope and a KI-209 Indicator for sale for $1700. It is 28V and if you need a 14V ACS has a converter for $250. This came out of my hangar mates LEZ. I thought I would put it in my AeroCanard but now I hope to use a CNX-80. John Perry, Boca Raton, Fl 954 341 9086.

  3. I'm building the AeroCanard. It has more room in the back seat, many good and convenient premolded parts that save a lot of time. It is well worth the money for me. Jeff really knows the airplane and the business but he has tired of the negative comments and has been persuing other projects right now. I still think parts and plans are availible. 4. The pearl white requires a base coat/clear coat and the pearl or metallic is in the clear coat. This makes it difficult to repair. It's not worth it for me. I hear PPG is really good has anyone else used it recently? That's what I used on the LZ but that was 10 years ago.

  5. I used Landoll's alternator on my LZ but in reading AeroElectric Conn

I thought maybe I would be better off using the LR-3 regulator but the B&C alts are pretty pricey so I hoped to put it on some other alternator. I think I'll take the B&C picture to the auto store and say I want one like that. It's probably a Nippondenso which is widely or wildly used, I think. I don't know though the old relay type regulators failed often but I have never seen one of the solid state ones fail in an over volt condition.
