yankeepapa
Looking for experienced opinions about the minimum runway length needed. With the understanding that there is no single answer (e.g., density altitude), please consider the question worded a bit differently: Will a 2500’ paved runway @ 814’ MSL be long enough during the Summer (95 F, 95% Relative Humidity)? At rear CG and lightweight, yes. At forward CG and/or MGW, nope. Still no single answer, because there are a lot of variables. Define them all, and then you get a single answer. Quote Marc J. James Claypool
Vortex generators will help but you need to practice on a 4K minimum runway and see just where you are rotating off. Fly safe.
