In the extreme ideal case, you'd have several thousand canards in this spreadsheet. I would think that without some description per line of "which plane" you'll loose track. longezdave Posted February 8, 2008 Share Posted February 8, 2008 Thanks for doing the data collection Rick. I should have told you that I have an O-235-L2C in my Long (not an O-235-C1 as listed). It is the 18th Long EZ on the list (line 22). I hope it isn't picking up too much weight during the current re-build/painting. longezdave Posted June 7, 2008 Share Posted June 7, 2008 I have an update on my empty weight after painting and now re-weighing my Long with certified aircraft scales. It is now 885 pounds!!! The huge change from 791 pounds had to be from two things. Naturally the filler and paint made a change, but I'm thinking that I didn't apply 94 pounds of filler and paint. I think the big change was from bathroom scales to certified aircraft scales. Don't use bathroom scales to weigh your aircraft!
