Engineinback Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Am look to purchuse Licensed Long EZ plans and Templates for a build. Been looking for quite sometime. Any suggestions, help, is extremely welcomed . Will pay fair market value for good to excellent plans and Templates (Licensed only please want to build) Quote
Jon Matcho Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 ...(Licensed only please want to build)For the record, you CAN build from a set of Long-EZ plans that someone else has already built a Long-EZ from. You just won't get any support from RAF. In fact, if you were to somehow locate a set of untouched plans (with unique serial number) in a time capsule somewhere, you still wouldn't be able to get any support from RAF. As an alternative, check out the Open-EZ. Quote Jon Matcho Builder & Canard Zone Admin Now: Rebuilding Quickie Tri-Q200 N479E Next: Resume building a Cozy Mark IV
rutnfan Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Purchase the TERF CD-Rom (Rutan get’s his royalties.) Use the open source documents that Jon linked and start building immediately. Look for a reasonably priced set on ez.org, etc. If you never find a licensed you may still build the aircraft… just don’t call it a Long-ez. Quote
