bhassel
I seen mention of converting a VariEZe to a Long. Is this for real? It would seem to require a new wing, Spar and canard - or is it easier than that? What are some real gross weights that are flying? Is this a 2 person ship? dpaton
New engine, fuselage, spar, canard, wing, canopy....um...you'll probably want new landing gear and instruments too. Does that cover it? Drew Swenson
I think what you might have seen is a Varieze that has been modified to have Longeze type storage in the strakes. Some (many?) VEs have Longez gear legs. And some have O-235s.
