Ken Clunis
I just flew my LongEZ for the first time in 11 years and it is as nice as I remembered it. My "new" plane has the Roncz Canard and I am trying to find data for the elevator deflection envelope with airspeed. CP 30 has it for the GU Canard but am unable to find similar data for the Roncz. I also need to know the "spring off - hands off" trim speed. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have search the CP and CSA indices with no luck. Wayne Hicks
I --think-- the designer for the Cozy IV, Nat Puffer, published a chart showing the degrees of elevator trail position at various CG's. I --think-- I remember seeing this chart in one of the more recent Cozy newsletters, available on line at: http://www.cozybuilders.org/newsletters/ It might not be totally accurate for the Long EZ, but it might get you in the ballpark. ...Wayne Hicks Quote Wayne Hicks Cozy IV Plans #678 http://www.ez.org/pages/waynehicks
deronjthomas
Wow! That is a plane that only the builder could love. But I can't talk. I don't even have a plane.
