Vumelyan Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I am currently debating about building a Cozy MK IV with a ATP/Innodyn 205TE 205 HP turbine. What I want to know is what is a good graphing software that I can use to show that performance of the engine and other critical data for flight and ground tests? And what type of "Black Box" would I need to record all the data to be downloaded to a laptop? could said software handle to data for 10-100 different probe data for flight/ground test for durations of 1-4 hours? Nathan Gifford Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 You could get Wonderware and either a small PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or Moore Industries 'brick'. I forget the exact name for these but they are analog input modules that talk Modbus protocol (either TCP or serial--try to get TCP as it is much faster). You can load Wonderware on your computer and hookup the Ethernet to the brick and collect and analyze all kinds of data.
