rhofacker
I've been reading the posts on using peel ply and plastic sheet for laminating. When do you remove the plastic and peel ply? Many operations call for trimming edges when the cure reaches the "green" state. Do you pull the plastic and peel ply at this point or wait until full cure? If you wait for the full cure how do you trim the edges? Trimming excess cloth is a LOT easier if done before the full cure...
Jerry Schneider
You can trim all you want during the green stage... just make sure you pull the peelply after full cure. It's easy to forget. (Ask me how I know ) Then again, if you get the Fein detail Sander w/HSS blade, you'll never have to worry about "green stage" again. Quote "I run with scissors."
