electrical in-flight adjustable prop

Read through the whole site, and Variprop claims that a 2 blade weighs less than 16 lbs. If that's the case, then a 3 blade would probably come in less than 25. If that's the case, I'll be interested when I get closer to done!

Thats 16 lbs. for a prop on a 80 HP motor.

I too have the inflight adjustable IVO three blade prob mounted on the back of my RWS PSRU/Rotary. I am just not flying yet <g>. I am in the development stages of a running engine and have even taxied around a bit.

ok, i know this is NO SCIENTIFIC explanation, but IVO is still in business and it has been YEARS since i have heard of a problem.

 

i think one of the previous posts was correct in saying that with the CORRECT engine (which we now know is power pulse dependant), it IS a nice prop...

 

see, dont you love experimental airplanes.....always something to learn!!
