dust
In my neck of the woods, hangar space is extremely restricted. I put my name on the list 7 years ago, and just moved to the top. I will stay at the top until i have a plane, no plane = no hangar. No building at the airport. Get your name on the list, now. dust
I just stay at the top and new available hangers go to the people below me until i am ready, then i get the next one, but it took 7 years to get to the top This is also NOT the airport i will test fly from, it has just a 3500 foot narrow runway in the city, i will travel 1/2 hour to oakland intl airport, where there are month to month hangers available. chuckthedog
Hay Mike, Your building a Canard 4 place right? I built and test flew my Long out of Lake Isabella Airpark (D15) It has 2580 ft. X50 runway with displaced thresholds each way runway 11, 1763 ft. 29, 1865 ft. It's not lots of room at gross but it keep you on your toes (Brakes) I found it helpful to get some Stearman, and Luscombe time before my first flight. I also helps to have an instructor from the old school. to give you some tips on how to scrubb off speed and not weare out your brakes. Get that baby done and flying. Quote If the phone don't ring.
