Hi all. I'm a newbie here, that is seriously considering building a Cozy IV. I've starting researching as much online as I'm able to with my awful dialup. So far, I really like the feel of the community of builders. I was wondering if there was anyone in my area building/flying a Cozy. I'm located in Spokane, WA. I saw one last year I belive @ KSFF and think I saw a refernce to someone in Cheney, WA having one as well. Thanks for the help and looking forward to my involvement with this group.

You might want to sign up for the Central State Association Newsletter: Terry L Schubert [jschuber@juno.com]. Along with the newsletter is an index of builders and there must be 30 of them in Washington state that comes with the subscription. I didnt see anybody in the Spokane area but there might be someone in a nearby town. The CSA has a lot of great info for canardians... I think it is $25/year. Excellent buy.

Regards, Nick

Robert,

CSA membership is worth 10 EAA memberships and a couple of dozen AOPA's put together. A couple of project visits puts all the memberships and everything you read on the web into perspective.

John Slade

PS - I started building 40 months ago, and am almost done. See http://kgarden.com/cozy

Just dive in - the water's fine!

I can be reached on the "other" forum http://canardaviationforum.dmt.net

Oh, don't get me wrong...I will more than likely join (especially with that kind of presure from you! ;-) I just need to get a few more spare bucks first. I kinda already spent the extra I wasn't counting on, especially since I need to pay for some flight time to get current. I also have to look into purchasing a house for the family or I can completly forget about a Cozy. Can't do that now can I?! I know how valuable it would be to meet and see some projects and that's why I stared this thread. I am also looking to get together with the local EAA Chapter (79 I believe) so as to get familiar with the local folks. I was just hoping that I could get together with some canarders. Thanks for the response and I have been to your site. You had some great info and the bird looks great. I am looking into the different powerplants and leaning toward the Mazda or possibly the Subaru. Since I figure I will have a few years to finish, should get a more positive idea by then. Thanks again and even though I might not come up with the time to comment a bunch, I'm reading and soaking up as much information as I can. You might say I'm "Sponge Bob"!!!!(sorry, that was bad ;-)
