Very nice looking. Question, what type of simulator work do folks like you do who make big mods during the design phase? Just wondering if you wait until you hit vRotate to find out if it flies, or if y'all try plugging the numbers into X-Plane or something similar?

Indeed, the Blonde Streak there is pretty much what I visualize when I think about building a Cozy Mk IV. Great build logs that I've pored over for hours, and a beautiful looking plane.

Technically, 400 is the VnE, and the stated level cruise is in the 300mph range.

I gotta ask, at the risk of having the bozo bit set on me early (as this is only my second post), but... has anyone ever set up their baggage pods with an in-cabin emergency release latch? Seems like this could provide (at the risk of complexity) a method for getting rid of a pod that is hanging badly or in danger of catching something on a gear up off-airport landing. And that's just the non-entertainment purposes.

Mission: IFR cross country.

Performance: 250-300Kts at FL25

Seating: 5 (two in front, bench or 3 in back)

Cost: free, of course. Barring that, <$100k US for build

Kit for wings/canards, etc. Plans or QB for the rest

Single engine, IO-540 or smaller.

Fixed gear, including the front (no grazing)

Pressurized cabin.

Sounds a lot like a Velocity XL5, I guess... but different.
