I've actually built two fiberglass covered plywood sailboats since my last post above here and also met a number of the airplane builders here in Thailand. I've also continued talks with the university about what they will do with that Cozy, and I'm still seriously considering a build from scratch, although I'll likely want to wait until after the pandemic allows me to travel to test fly one in person. In the meantime, I've settled on a Rans S21 kit build to keep me busy next, which should be a much smaller and quicker project. But I build quite quickly, and I'm almost certain I'll want to do a second plane afterwards, and found a plans built Cozy still really interests me.
