kdalons
Hello, I recently purchased a Varieze (O-200) without wheel pants. I have purchased wheel pants from Lightspeed.com - which I will be installing shortly. My Varieze still has the P-51 inlet so I can't use the gear leg fairings that Lightspeed sells, so I am interested in making my own. I am a CSA subscriber, but only have the 2007 issues right now. Any good articles out there describing building gear leg fairings or are there some old CSA back issues I could buy that cover it? Thanks in advance, Kevin Alons N80RL (Varieze)
Wayne Hicks
Although this method is accomplished with the gear out of the plane, you can accomplish it by putting a piece of plywood vertically in front of your gear leg. Do all the carving using the plywood as the reference instead of the table.
